Oakwood Elementary School, Zeke Kelly----Both pretty darn amazing!

Congratulations to Zeke Kelly!! I could not be more proud of you, my amazing son.  Zeke got a bit of a tough start in life. That rough beginning led to a speech delay which made reading and some elements of school challenging. Happy to re port that at Zeke's IEP meeting today he met or exceeded grade level standards in math and reading, growing nearly two academic years in one school year. He is ready to move on to Hudtloff MS and take 6th grade by storm  Oakwood Elementary is exactly what Zeke needed to make it! Many of you know I've frequently talked publicly about Zeke....to encourage and push teachers and principals alike to believe in the potential of each child. I've frequently shared that our hope for Zeke is that he would be able to do, academically, all the things that all the Kelly Kids can do! The target is the target. The standard is the standard.
